Spring H&M Little Girl’s Capsule Wardrobe

It’s SPRING! That means it’s time to update those little girls capsule wardrobes. In all honesty, the little lady really doesn’t need an update. Still, when I was shopping for some other things at H&M I saw their new arrivals and fell in love. I had to start “hearting” away and make a post.

I’m sure I’ll be getting a piece or two from this capsule layout to rotate into her wardrobe.

If you’re new to capsule wardrobes then check out last season’s Fall Capsule Wardrobe post for some tidbits about them.

For those of you who are here to see the new spring arrivals pin it now and keep reading.

Capsule Wardrobe Collage of all 18 items

This season is full of soft colors and loads of femininity.

I love it!

Don’t you?

I wanted to keep this capsule casual but also have some versatile options to “dress up”.

The Little Lady loves dresses and skirts.

In total, there are 18 pieces in this Spring capsule:

A variety of 8 tops including

8 shirts for girl's capsule

A 3 pack of Puff Sleeve Jersey Tops

Chambray Band Collar Button Up

Pack of Cami Style Tanks

A Pullover Sweatshirt

I love putting a chambray shirt over a tee for a casual “jacket” or half buttoning it & tying the ends.

Of course, you can’t go wrong wearing it on it’s own with leggings, shorts, or any other basic bottom.

I know some places are still cooler in the evening (not here in Texas but somewhere) so I also included a pullover.

Both of these items were actually found in the boys section. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any chambray button ups in the girls section and I couldn’t find a decent solid pullover either.

8 years later and it’s still true…

The boys section is just better for basics.

Moving on to the bottoms…

We’ve got

Leggings, shorts, and skirt for capsule wardrobe

Black Leggings

Pink Leopard Print Leggings

A Colored Twill Skirt

Jean Shorts

Leggings for comfort.

A skirt for some fun.

Isn’t the green just adorable? *squee*

And again, I had to head to the boys section for the shorts. They aren’t in their conscious line but are 100% cotton and they aren’t crazy short.

For “one-piece” items

Dress, romper, and jean jacket

I went with a:

Cotton Dress

Cotton Romper

Jean Jacket

I couldn’t leave the romper behind.

Personally, I’m not that much of a fan of them but

I loved the flutter cap sleeves and print of this one

And yes… I’m a sucker for yellow.

Then, I fell in love with the blue and white striped cotton dress.

I love that both of these are actually in their conscious line!

*swoon*

I also went out on a limb and caved to how in jean jackets are this season.

Maybe they’ve always been in season?

I thought this one super cute with the mock pockets and it was 98% cotton.

You guys know I try to stick to organic or at the least, cotton.

To round out this Spring Capsule I took to the shoes section of the H&M site.

Because every girl needs new shoes

Right?

YAS!

ballet flats, sneakers, and sandal for little girl's capsule

We’ve got:

Classic black ballet flats

High top sneakers

Simple Chambray Sandals

That’s 18 pieces for this Capsule Wardrobe!

Even more amazing, that’s over 20 different outfit options.

Yes.

That’s right.

More than 20 outfits!

you’ll want to pin this one too!

Capsule Wardrobe with various outfit combinations

With so few pieces you could easily fit them all in a single drawer.

Of course, that’s KonMari folded. (I know I’ve mentioned we KM’d a few years ago, right)?

Thing is though, H&M has a real knack for selling out of things fast.

I tried to find these items ASAP for y’all so they should still be in stock in a range of sizes!

So scurry along and fill those closets with this fantastic Spring capsule wardrobe

While you still can!…
